    The Masters in Science Writing guides the next generation of science writers and editors who will navigate the increasingly complex fields of medicine and technology, and effectively communicate to the general public the impact these fields will have on their lives.
  • Master of Arts in Teaching Writing
    The Master of Arts in Teaching Writing helps teachers at all levels and in all disciplines become better teachers of writing by studying theories and best practices, and by exploring their own writing. This program provides a forum where teachers can learn from one another in an environment that allows participants to address individual situations, needs, and interests.
  • Master of Arts in Writing
    The Master of Arts in Writing will give student the tools to develop the craft of writing from active professional writers in an intensive workshop-focused approach that includes summer residency options in locations around the world. Students can choose from a concentration in fiction or nonfiction and tailor their learning to their unique career goals through a variety of writing electives and workshop courses in options such as travel writing, poetry, memoir, and experimental fiction.
  • Master of Liberal Arts
    The MLA thrives on the curiosity, passion, and diversity of its students. Our community of scholars eagerly embraces the Master of Liberal Arts interdisciplinary approach and flexible curriculum to better understand more about the world—and in so doing, learn and understand more about themselves. Students design their own program of study from a diverse mix of electives in areas such as literature, history and religion.
  • Master of Science in Research Administration
    The Masters in Research Administration is designed to benefit research practitioners, including those currently working in higher education, government agencies, and independent foundations, as well as those who seek to begin a career in research administration. Students will examine how the research enterprise is organized and led across the US, and internationally.
  • Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in International Research Administration Management
    The Graduate Certificate in International Research Administration Management is offered as a stand-alone option, or as an additional credential to those completing the MS in Research Administration degree. In five focused courses, you’ll explore the application of international research and contracting, and prepare for a career in managing internationally sponsored research.
  • Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in Science Writing
    The graduate certificate program in science writing is based on the belief that today’s successful science writers require a working knowledge of diverse skills, from journalism and communication to multimedia and the literary arts.
  • Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in Teaching Writing
    The graduate certificate program in teaching writing is for teachers at all levels and disciplines become master teachers of writing.
